Planning Permission Granted for Priory Centre Redevelopment
On 17th September Huntingdon District Council announced that the Development Management Committee had approved the plans for the refurbishment of the Priory Centre. After an initial rejection due to some concerns raised about the heritage of the surrounding conservation area by Historic England, the revised application was put forward to the planning committee and was recommended for approval.
The approval of the plans is a huge step that allows the project to move forward as we look to start the works towards the end of 2024. You can view the plans via the Huntingdon District Council Planning Portal. The reference is 24/00515/HDC.
